Hours of Operation

The B.A.M. Service, Thrift Store & Food Pantry Operates
Monday, Wednesday & Friday
10:00am – 2:30pm

As an expression of God’s love and as an opportunity to share the good news of Jesus Christ, the churches of the Belpre area and other organizations have formed “The Belpre Area Ministries, Inc.” The member churches and organizations seek to better meet the immediate needs of people in Belpre and Little Hocking who need assistance.

What do we do?

In 2010, B.A.M. provided assistance to 507 households, 1822 individuals, and enough food for 22,000 meals.  B.A.M. includes a thrift store and food pantry, as well as giving assistance to the needy with utilities, prescriptions, gas, and lodging.

The Thrift Store

Located in the B.A.M. building at 2310 Washington Blvd., The Thrift Store recieves donations of good quality garments for the whole family. The clothes are then sold inexpensively to anyone in the community. Come in and Look Around.

B.A.M. depends on volunteers both in helping others through food and household assistance, and also with the operation of the Thrift store. In 2010, B.A.M. had 127 volunteers who donated more than 8,000 hours of their time. If you would like more information about volunteering, please call us at 740-423-2069.
